OUR AIM:

  • Have Fun!

  • Provide happy learning.

  • Nurture a healthy relationship between students, parents and teacher.

  • Provide a strong basis of dance technique.

  • Create an environment in which all students, regardless of their gender or physical appearances, feel comfortable in their decision to choose dance.

  •  Acquire a better understanding and appreciation of dance.

  • Build  high self-esteem, self-discipline and self-motivation in students.

  • Bring the best out in each student.

  • Each student is different and I aim to work with each student’s weakness to emphasize their strength and that way it boosts their confidence.

  • Build a relationship with each student which in turn helps them to be more at ease when they feel inadequate or nervous.

  • Get to know the parents of the students which will also help me understand where the children come from and for you as a parent to get the best out of them.

BOUNCE STARTED IN 2008 IN NEW ZEALAND

I am in the process of writing a unique syllabus specifically designed for

Bounce School of dance.

It is designed from the technique that I acquired from

South-Africa and the Lester Horton Technique.

It is a dance form that is designed for theatre based dancing.

It consists of short exercises to develop the muscles of the body of the students to prevent later injuries. It helps students to become more supple and acquire strength.
